We want every young person to leave our sessions with a tool(s) to take them from their suffering into their greatness. We believe all young people have the right to be heard and feel empowered in life to take them to the best they can be, no matter their circumstances or background.
We founded Introspection Coaching in 2022 when we discovered our purpose in life was to “serve others” We worked together for over 10 years, working with a wide range of challenging behaviours. With a wide range of qualifications between us. Life Coach level 7, EFT, Personal Training, Hypnotherapy, NNEB and more we are able to provide tools and techniques to our students to help guide them through their current challenges. Our sessions are question based, enabling our students to look within for their own answers, we believe all our students have their own answers, they just haven’t been asked the right questions!
A Life Coach is very different to a therapist or a counsellor. A Life Coach’s role is to work alongside our clients to unearth challenges, goals and thinking patterns.
We help identify a client's inner strengths that they may not be aware of. We do not advise or dig deep into past events, it is all about taking the client forward. Like a sports coach, we do not play the sport ourselves but we can help identify our players strengths and bring out the best in them so they can play their best game.
With a series of thought-provoking questions and worksheets - designed to ignite a thought process within the client - we build awareness of where they currently are and set some small steps to achieve a big goal for where they would like to be.
By working with students our aim is for them to become more aware of themselves, their strengths and passions, and how they can use these to drive themselves forward into a more meaningful and purposeful life, whilst using the tools and techniques they have learnt along the way.
Dear Suzanne, I would like to express on behalf of myself and our students our sincere gratitude to you at Introspection Coaching , for the support determination and seeing each individual for who they are and helping them see within themselves what they aspire to "do, be or have" Enabling them to be be their very best versions of themselves and to be proud of their personal achievements however big or small . It has been a pleasure to work with you and see our student's whole demeanour change in such a positive way due to your patience , listening intuitively and helping them recognise what is the most important to them in their perception of the world. I feel our young people are extremely privileged to have the opportunity to work with you.
Many thanks
Mrs A
Life coaching has completely changed my thought process in such a short period of time.
Suzanne aided me to comprehend what my values were and how I can develop my life through them.
Additionally she has supported me in rationalising my over thinking which has made attending school considerably easier as I have far less anxiety.
Amongst all of this she has made me feel more confident in myself and develop goals for my future that I truly look forward too, as well as focusing on my present schooling in order to progress in the future.
Not only that but it is something I genuinely look forward to every week. I can say with all honesty Life Coaching has caused the most improvement in my life and mental health, and therefore I highly recommend it to other schools as it can clearly help individuals set goals in a period of their life in which they may have little hope for their future”
R. Aged 16yrs
Having had various therapies over the years I found the coaching sessions I undertook to be extremely beneficial. There were several aspects e.g setting goals, doing homework that worked for me.
I found Jackie to be very empathetic kind and supportive when I was emotional. The benefits of doing the sessions are still with me and ongoing
I would highly recommend coaching
Thankyou Jackie
I had a couple of coaching sessions with Jackie.
I had lost my Mum 7 years previously, to lung cancer. Myself and my siblings cared for my Mum around the clock, taking turns. We did this for the last four weeks of her life as she wanted to stay in her own home.
After my Mum passed, I began to ask myself a few questions about her last weeks, like did she feel loved? Did she feel the care we gave her was good enough? Could we have done more? So every day I would ask myself these questions and then replay her final weeks over and over again in my mind to see if we could have done anything differently.
Of course, by asking these questions, I started my day with deep sadness, I would cry every day. I felt sad, guilty and ashamed. I hid this from my siblings as I knew they would be worried about me, and possibly annoyed that 7 years later I was still grieving every single day for my Mum.
After speaking to Jackie, she helped me realise I was asking questions that could never be answered, because my Mum had passed. Instead Jackie encouraged me to ask questions that I could answer. Like was my Mum loved by her family and friends? If she was, how would you know? I answered because we were there 24 hours a day making sure she was comfortable, making sure she was never alone. We did this without asking, we were just all there with her.
As I answered that question I realised, the answer I always wanted to hear was answered. My Mum knew she was loved by us all. The very next day and to this day I have never asked those questions again. I don't start my day with sadness and tears like I did, instead I start my day Grateful for that time spent with my Mum and those wonderful memories we shared.
Thank you Jackie Martin for helping me realise, I had the answers to those questions inside me already.
I had the pleasure of working with Introspection Coaching and funding some of their services for young people in Welwyn Hatfield. Through working with Suzanne and Jackie over the last 8 months or so, I would like to express how pleased I am with the work that Introspection Coaching does and all the commitment to our community. The experience and knowledge that you both demonstrate and foster through life coaching has been invaluable to the students that you have worked with. I sincerely hope that we are able to see you continue to grow and branch out to help more people. The feedback that I have received from the schools is brilliant. Additionally, I appreciate how you have volunteered your time to work with us for some of our events and activities in Welwyn Hatfield. I hope we can continue to foster a partnership and you are able to network with more schools, organisations and community groups.
Conversations are always better face to face, if you would like a meeting drop us a line ..
